Event Calendar 2953:

  1. January: Red Festival (Chinese New Year)

  2. February: Coramor (Valentine’s Day)
    Coramor is an annual holiday celebrated throughout the United Empire of Earth (UEE) on February 11th. The event honors the story of Yuri Ilyin, who disappeared while trying to reunite with his lover, Corazon Tan.
  3. March: Stella Fortuna (St. Patrick’s Day)
    Stella Fortuna is a celebration of good fortune and success in new ventures. It originally commemorated the successful colonization of Mars (Sol IV) and is marked by feasting, fireworks, festivals, and the colors gold and green.
  4. April: Triggerfish (April Fools’ Day)
    Triggerfish is a playful holiday celebrated on April 1st, where participants engage in pranks, jokes, and hoaxes. It originated in the 2600s when residents of Borea (Magnus II) started convincing visitors of a secret fourth planet called “Triggerfish” in the Magnus system.
  5. May: Invictus Launch Week
    From May 19th to 31st, Invictus Launch Week welcomes the UEE Naval fleet back to the Stanton system. Participants can test-fly military vehicles, experience new releases, rediscover old favorites, and tour an in-service Javelin destroyer at the new event location among Crusader’s clouds.
  6. May Drake DefenceCon(after Invictus)
    Due to the company’s history, Drake was not invited to participate directly in the Invictus Launch Week. Instead, they showcased their entire fleet of Flight Ready vehicles at their own expo on the main show floor. Drake is commitment to empowering individuals with the tools they need for personal protection and freedom, even when faced with challenges and adversity.
  7. June: Alien Week / First Contact
    Alien Week is a celebration of the galaxy’s wondrous diversity, with limited-time deals on ships from Aopoa, Esperia, and the Banu, new special ship paints, Tevarin-inspired armor sets, and collectible alien-centric merchandise.
  8. July: Foundation Festival
    The Foundation Festival is a month-long civic program that aims to strengthen community spirit by encouraging citizens and civilians to volunteer with local and imperial organizations.
  9. September: Pirate Week
    Coinciding with Talk Like a Pirate Day, Pirate Week is a time for merry marauding across the ‘verse. Participants can engage in the Pirate Swarm game mode in Arena Commander for a chance to win the infamous pirate Gladius.
  10. October: CitizenCon (October 21, 2023) & Day of the Vara
    (Halloween) CitizenCon is a day-long celebration of all things Star Citizen, featuring development updates, giveaways, and more. Day of the Vara is a month-long celebration in October, with various Halloween-themed activities and events.
  11. November: International Aerospace Expo
    Intergalactic Aerospace Expo offers a chance to test-fly over 100 spaceships for free, with new vehicle announcements, special-edition vehicle paints, and in-game items.
  12. December: Luminalia
    (Christmas) Luminalia is an annual holiday celebrated by both Banu and Humans on December 22nd. Originating from the Banu festival ‘tsikti efanga’ (Glow Festival), Luminalia is marked by the lighting of ceremonial lamps that burn until their fuel is consumed. During this time, Banu and Humans alike exchange gifts and engage in festivities to strengthen community bonds.

    Floating Events:

    9-Tails Lockdown
    The Nine Tails pirate gang has locked down a local rest stop, and local security forces need your help. This event provides opportunities for traders, cargo haulers, and even those with a crime stat to get involved.

    Jump Town
    In this player-driven event, participants engage in a tug-of-war over control of a lucrative drug lab on Crusader’s moon, Yela. Player actions in this event have become official canon in Star Citizen’s lore.

    Siege of Orison
    The Nine Tails pirate gang has taken over several platforms around Orison, Crusader’s tranquil city in the clouds. Players can join CDF forces on the ground to combat the ruthless gang and free the besieged platforms.

    Xenothreat
    During this dynamic event, players are asked to help resupply a UEE Navy flagship while defending against enemy attacks. The second iteration of the Assault on Stanton event, Xenothreat offers an improved flow for both veterans and newcomers.
